How to Clean Stainless Steel
Cleaning Stainless Steel Effortlessly!
Use Weiman's stainless steel wipes - they will remove finger print smudges and give it a beautiful shine.
baby oil or olive oil sprayed on, then wiped with the grain of the stainless(yes there is a grain). Then buff until shiny. Repeat about once per week. Oil also works wonders on stainless and granite composite sinks. the oil repels water stains and restores their original luster.
Pour some olive oil on a rag and give it a nice scrub :)
I use those Weiman wipes too. They are wonderful! Sometimes I rub with a micro fiber cloth afterwards and it really looks brand new!
A retail store told me they use WD-40 !! Spray on a cloth and then wipe with the grain! Perfect !!!!
Water leaves spots and streaks on stainless steel. A big problem with a water dispenser. Washing dirt off with water works well as long as you dry it completely. WD40 works the same as the stainless steel cleaning pads. When the pads are dirty you can wash them and then reuse them with WD40.
I use straight white vinega, and then afterwar a soft cloth, it stays clean for weeks and you don't have that oily residue on there, that attracts every fuzzy that flies around.
Try wiping them down with Windex.
