How do I remove lint from the filter in front of my electric dryer

It should just slide out (all of mine for 29 years have that ability) The link should just peel off. -

You can also vacuum out the area underneath the lint trap to get what little lint collects there. I use my dryer sheet to get all the lint out of the trap after each load. Leaving lint in the trap makes it a fire trap. -

I use my vacume. U can attach an empty paper towel roll to the end of vacuum hose. Its very flexible so you will be able to reach further into the filter compartment
