My Dishwasher soap dispenser is corroded. CLR didn’t work. Ideas?

    Hi, I don't know what brand you have, but my first thoughts would be to look in your manual to see if it can be replaced, call the manufacture or look for the manual online. However I did find the link below that might help you. Wishing you the best & Happy New Year!

      Oh, that's a shame. I am fortunate in that I have good water, but my daughter lives in the "country" and they have well water that isn't very good. :( I know she uses all natural products and so far, they haven't had a problem, but they've only been there a couple of years. They've talked about a whole house filtration system, but I know those are expensive. I hope you find a solution.

    Try soaking a towel in vinegar and lying it on it for a while.

      I use vinegar in the prewast Just tells you how bad our City water is. Ty though

    Try a little steel wool around the edges.

    I agree with above comments. Good, old-fashioned, white distilled vinegar might do the trick. I know it works on calcium deposits on sink spout. It might take several attempts if it's really bad. Wishing you well. Happy New year.
