How do you clean your computer screen?

How do you clean your computer screen? I heard windex is terrible for the screen as it contains wax. What are the alternatives?

    Use a microfibre cloth that has been wrung out of plain water. Never use a spray of any kind.

    I use a damp cotton athletic sock. Then wipe with a dry sock. Slip over my hand and wipe. Never use chemical cleaners.

    If I'm doing wrong....please please tell me. I've been staying with my dad and my uncle in hospitals and nursing rehabs and have been using the alcohol pads they use for cleaning the skin before they give an injection. ok????

    For LCD screens, I was told not to put water or regular cleaners on them. I bought a huge tub of wipes for screens (TV"s and computer screens) at Fry's Electronics Store for just a few dollars. I would think that what Teresa B is talking about, the alcohol pads, would be fine. Never spray anything directly on a LCD screen.
