Have a spot in my tub from dry epsom salts. Just a yellow spot. My guess it has to be refinished. Chris

You can try this diy cleaner. It was made for mold/midlew stains, but works great for other types. http://chemistrycachet.com/the-best-way-to-remove-mold-mildew/
You might also need to try some type of oxygenated bleach like hydrogen peroxide. You can mix some of that with baking soda to form a paste and allow it to sit for a little bit. If this doesn't work, it possible it has etched or stained the surface.
My guess is that the porcelain finish was compromised
The porcelain finish was etched. You can try touch up porcelain paint. Home Depot, Lowes, or Menard's.
