CLR is the best on hard water. I had hard water once and it made my toilet orange. Bleach didn't touch it. But, CLR (in a grey bottle and short for Calcium, Lime, and Rust) really got rid of it all.
Vinegar may help, if it is thick, it may take a few tries, but it should work.
I use a bunch of used fabric softener sheet soaked in vinegar.
white vinegar and water 50/50 a dab of blue dawn dish soap and a dab of jet dry
Baking soda mixed with hydrogen peroxide and a magic eraser.
Once you get the soap film off, coat with baby oil. You'll have to repeat when it washes off but that is a whole lot easier then cleaning off the soap scum!
Vinegar and a non scratch scrub pad. After you get it all clean, use car wax on the doors and tiles to make water bead off.
