How do I easily clean a nasty toilet rim?

The prior owners of our home must have never cleaned under the toilet bowl rims, and they are nasty brown/black. Need tips for easiest way to clean.

Pour bleach let set...use clorox toilet wand cleaner and Scrub
White vinegar and Dawn.
You can also try a product made by Lysol that has an angled head to squirt under the rim.
it could be a form of rust or possibly iron mold .

2.a paste of food grade citric acid can order from amazon .
3 if it’s iron bleach will make it worse . Very hard to clean off .
Pumice stone and elbow grease
blue can Easy off oven cleaner...Yep works great sprays under rim easily..... I used to clean apartments,some were pretty nasty.works in tubs and sinks too porcelain, fiberglass. Spray on let sit 30 min to 1 hour scrub with stiff pad or brush (use gloves) and rinse well with hot water.
Clorax toilet tabs works well for us
