How can we remove sticky goo from non-slip decals from a shower floor?

We removed ugly rubber non-slip decals from our shower floor but are having a terrible time getting the left-over stickumgoo off. Have tried goo gone, various heavy-duty sprays, scrubbed with Comet, and many other things. We're at a loss.

My go to for this is Goo Off, you might have to do it a couple times, but it comes in spray, or drops from bottle. Good luck. Maybe you meant goo off instead of goo gone.

  • Maybe try a magic eraser?? I've also found scalding hot water and rubbing with something abrasive (wear gloves to protect hands) can get sticky residue off

    Hi Pamela,

I use WD-40 for situations like you're describing. There are so many uses for WD-40 that we don't think about. I started using it more last year and realized that it's a very versatile product. Wishing you the best.

I'd try Goo Gone adhesive remover in a spray bottle. Available at Amazon.

I would use some Easy Off Fume-Free Oven Cleaner in the blue can. give it a good spray and let sit 20 mins, then use a round plastic scrubby to remove the gunk.

Never thought of this. I'll give it a try. Thank you!
