Lime away, but read directions carefully.

    Hi Linda,

In a 32 oz empty plastic water bottle put 8 oz of blue dawn dish soap and fill the rest with white vinegar. MIx it up by gently shaking. Next cut a couple of slits in the cap and recap the bottle. Apply this to your tub and take a new Dollar store plastic bristle broom and clean it by spreading the mixture around, using the broom as a long handled brush (see how this is saving your back?). Rinse and let dry. Repeat as often as you need to. Let it set if there is a lot of soap scum.

This works great. I squirt some in shower and then use broom to get it everywhere. If you do weekly, no buildup

    Hi Linda,

I use vinegar and water for most cleaning project in my home. For soap scum, I'd use just vinegar. I'd apply it to the area then let it sit for a few minutes. Next I'd soak a cloth with vinegar and start wiping it away. The vinegar should cut through the soap scum. Wishing you the best.
