You can make a paste with baking soda and water, use an old tooth brush to scrub in the lines. Then use a spray bottle of vinegar and spray onto the grout and scrub again with the tooth brush. Once it's clean use water and a rag to wash the mixture off. It's labor intensive but really gets down in there.
Try comet with bleach and a grout brush. Good luck !
Clorox bleach pen is a good tool as it's about the size of the grout lines.
Some people use toilet bowl cleaner.
Once you get it clean, make sure to seal it. You will need to re-seal every few years. Test by dropping a bit of water and make sure it beads up.
An alternative if you can't get it clean is to paint the grout.
I just cleaned mine in the kitchen with something that is called The Works let soak and use a brush.
I use Clorox toilet bowl cleaner and it works really well. Be sure not to get any on your wood or other floors.
WHITENING TOOTHPASTE (not the gel kind). On a grand scale, squirt the toothpaste on the floor & wet mop over it spreading it all over your floor. Leave it sit for a few hours to overnight. Mop it up the next morning. The bleach in the whitening toothpaste will whiten the grout. Use Mop & Glow to seal it to prevent it from turning again.
