First try using a nylon scrubby and your cleaner of choice to break down shower scum. If your shower is older, the glass may already be etched by the minerals in the water. If the nylon scrubby doesn’t work, try 0000 steel wool. Rinse well. Then start using an after shower spray on the area to keep cleanings to a minimum.
