How do I clean bathroom ceramic tile?

White, waxy film, on my bathroom tile. Tried ammonia, baking soda, vinegar, dawn, magic eraser, bathroom cleaners,CLR, and combination of above ingredients. Nothing works, except scraping. Please, need another answer. There's a lot of tile to scrape, and I am afraid of scratching it.

Huh. Have you tried TSP substitute mixed with water? I wonder if that would work. If not, talk to someone in the tile department or paint department of your local hardware store.
