How do I remove all remnants of silicone caulk from my shower base?
How do I remove all remnants of silicone caulk from my shower base and surround so I can install a new shower enclosure? Also, how do I remove the yellow stain where the old shower doors were?

The easiest way would be to remove the old surround first and then scrape the caulk. A putty knife should do the trick, just be careful not to dig into the base and scratch it.
the yellow stain might be an iron residue try some clr on it.
The caulk may also be removed with a single edged razor blade, please be careful.
The stain can be removed by CLR, calcium, lime , rust-available at DIY stores.
