Vinegar in a spray bottle rinse for your sink, tub, shower and toilet once a day. Vinegar in a zip loc bag tied over the shower head and any faucets that have signs of mineral deposits once a week or month. When you take a bath, it wouldn’t hurt to add 1/2 cup of vinegar to the water. It’s good for your health, is not enough to burn your eyes, and softens the water. Still do a vinegar rinse when you let the water out and clean the tub. Best wishes ☺️

Flush vinegar or cleaner through toilet tank weekly or when ever you notice the ring developing.
using these in the tub/ shower as noted in the other answers works. This requires consistency, so...
Don‘t be afraid to scour with baking soda/ borax initially to get the soap scum off as needed
Don’t use any bleach in toilet tank. It eats plastic and corrodes

If it’s built up, you need to physically remove it with something like a pumice stone.
