NO!
oh boy, I don't think I would do that... it might make the floor very slippery.
Maybe read through the ingredient list on your leather cleaner to learn what is in it. I don't think I'd risk using it on wood floors, it might damage them.
Hi, Margrete!
Using a leather cleaner on wood flooring is probably not a good idea. It may damage the floors by making them hazy or discolored, and would be a pain to correct. Maybe check with an upholstery shop or automotive detailer to see if they could use the cleaner... I hope this helps!
Hello, I would not suggest using it it could cause a fall. The best solution would be to call the manufacturer and ask for additional alternate uses.
Here's a post that might help https://chascrazycreations.com/how-to-clean-engineered-hardwood-floors/
I've used Weiman leather conditioner on my hardwood floors for 3 years now. Spray it directly on, use a swiffer absorbent pad to spread it evenly, then a terrycloth mop to buff it in. No slip hazzard for me. Just strip it clean with swiffer wet jet cleaner when needed, and reapply Weiman when dry. (My floors have polyurethane protection) Not sure about using it on shellac floors.
