on your hands/knees with a little dish of damp baking soda and a tooth brush -

I made a loose paste with oxyclean and applied with an old tooth brush. After 30 plus minutes, wipe up...a bit messy...bucket of water needed.Amazing results. -

I squirt Hydrogen Peroxide on the grout, let it sit for a few minutes and then use a cheap battery operated toothbrush to clean it. The results are always amazing.
