I have tile on mine put I use a vacuum and then rubbermaid reveal mop on it. Mine get really grungy since it gets all the dust and dogs track in dirt. It's refillable and I basically just use water with a little cleaner in it but you could add whatever cleaner you wanted and it works great. Pads can be put in washer or just rinsed out.
