Hello Rosemary,
Try using Stain Wizard from the Washing Isle of Supermarket, or Steam clean it, or use Vanish, or try using a water spray to wet the stain and then Kitchen roll laid on top and try to soak the stain up by using pressure. Best wishes.
Hello. I’ve always found both hydrogen peroxide or Oxiclean clean type detergents to be perfect for my medical uniform staining.
Hi RosemaryJ ust apply a small amount of hydrogen peroxide directly to the stain and watch as the red blood stain disappears. In the case of old or stubborn stains, reapply as needed. After the stain is removed, rinse the area with cold water to remove any peroxide that may be left behind.

Hello. Squirt 3% Hydrogen Peroxide onto the blood stain and let sit for 10 or more minutes. Blot with a damp cloth and see if your stain is gone, if not repeat until it is. Rinse and blot. Testing fabric on the bottom surface might-be suggested.
Alternatively the oxi products work very well too.
