I saw Odoban at Dolkat General gor $3, oin a "regular" size spray bottle. The instructions say don't use on porous surfaces. Isn't wood porous?
Could be they have absorbed the smells into the timber as they are pourous!
Try sprinkling Shake Vac insside them and leave for 24 hours before cleaning it out.
Hi Laura: If the cabinets still smell a bit after washing them inside and out, place bowls of vinegar inside overnight, with the doors closed, to help remove the scent. Additional bowls of coffee beans or baking soda also help absorb the odors; these may be left in place for a few weeks. Wash all the items that belong in each cabinet to remove lingering odors from them; dry goods such as food and seasoning packages that smell musty should be discarded. Maybe use glass jars for dry goods instead of the paper containers. Or, you can get a product called Odormute, which is mostly used for urine smells, but works on way much more. Spray the inside of the cabinets, liberally, and put a fan in front of the cabinet, leaving the door open so that it will dry out.
Good luck
Hello Laura, hope this helps you. One part water and one part vinegar in a bucket. A damp cloth or sponge down the furniture. Let it dry, and you can fill a plastic container and place it inside. Close the cabinet and wait a few days. Follow up with some boxes of the baking soda placed in all the cabinets and drawers. They will absorb the odor.
