How can I clean the upholstery on my dining chairs?

I used resolve but that only made large circles & left the upholstery spotted & dingy. I'm at a loss. Thanks

The resolve most likely left a residue or to much was used. Try making a solution of white vinegar and water. Leave on for a while then blot with a paper towel.You may have to then wash with a mild soap and water being careful not to saturate the fabric.

resolve will sometimes take out color...try dishwashing detergent and water and a soft brush.
