    Make your own GooGone!

Mix together two tablespoons vegetable oil and three tablespoons baking soda well and store in a small, sealable container.

The mixture is usable until it's gone and doesn't include any harsh chemicals or smells.

Apply the paste to the adhesive and rub it in. Let it sit for a minute or two then you should be able to scrub it off!

    😊

WD40 will work great for this job. That's what car dealers use to remove adhesive from windows left behind from price stickers. Best of luck to you.

Cdn Tire sells "Goo Gone" spray gel for a very reasonable price. Takes the sticky residue off of glass, mirror, metal (like coffee machine) and should be good on counters also. Just spray, wait a moment then rub gently with cloth. Then just rinse off. It is very oily.

Goo gone or try finger nail polish remover, or cigarette lighter fluid. do not use charcoal lighter fluid. After removing the glue, walk with warm soap & water.
