I really recommenced an infra red heat "gun" Then you can get the actual temperature. I use ours to check coffee, soup and anything re heated in the microwave, for air leaks around any outside opening, doors, windows. I use it more than once every day. If you have a trailer, you can use it to check the bearing housing temperature, and SO many times, just point and shoot, and there is the temp. Usually less than $30. We have TWO

i hit the wrong question, it is for the next one sorry

This depends on if the table was finished before you used it as a plant table. This is the reason why we placed a long doilie, and then glass on top of it, for the plants, then all we have to do is to use windex, and it is clean. You may want to ask at a hardware store, to see if they know of something you can use. Sometimes, Murphy's oil soap, will help you too. J.

Also, if you use the crockery bottom of a pot, No No No!!! for the dampness will come thru the bottom item, and hurt your table. Use the plastic saucers, from a dime store, and these will NOT leak, or stain your table. I just thought of that, so excuse the inserts to your question, ok? J.

I did write one more insert, tho it was not printed into your letter, I wonder why? Have a nice day, and do ask again, we will help you. J.
