Use brown paper and a iron on low keep ironing it will remove it
Chip off what you can, then cover the drip with a layer of paper towels or a paper bag. Keep turning the paper as you melt the wax with a warm iron.
Scrape off as much as you can. If it is on a painted wall use a little WD40 and wipe it off, then wash the wall. If it is on wall paper use the heat method above but be careful that the wall paper isn't vinyl.
Plain brown paper bag-grocery store one, you may need several depending on how much wax is on the walls..
Iron the bag over the wax on low, no steam, repeat with fresh areas of the bag, do this until no more wax is on the bag.
