How to get rid of mold from the bathroom drain?

The drain in the bathroom sink (the part attached to the sink) has black stuff growing from it. I clean it and it comes off but comes back. I have cleaned the stopper but the black stuff (mold) comes back.

It's actually coming from your water. Unfortunately there is no way to get rid of it forever. Bleach &/or bleach wipes every couple of days is pretty much all you can do. You CAN invest in a whole house water filtration system, but that may not even help because of the water source.

    Try using white vinegar.

It is a permanent tenant that unfortunately does not pay rent. Also so clean inside the faucets, as it is also likely growing in there as well. I prefer good old "original Clorox" (it is better than any of the other bleaches) to all this vinegar nonsense it not only leaves a bit of a residual effect, it sterilizes at the same time and now comes in fresh scents!

Take the stopper out and use a old toothbrush and clean the drain with bleach the toothbrush cleans the sides down the drain
