Hello Anne Marie, those little Shark steamer buggers do a great job. One little drawback though, please purchase the bigger size, lol. I cup of water is gone is a moment when it turns to steam. I am not complaining personally as it was a very thoughtful gift at the time (you know your health is bad when cleaning products are a happy gift, bwahahahahhaaa. They honestly make cleaning so much easier, but if you do not like that take them down and lay them in the bathtub on top of a towel(no scratching tub) and just wash them with normal dish-washing liquid. Then rinse well and lay them on towels on floor to dry them many slats at a time which goes very quickly. Not as much work as I am making it sound like though. Must be true, I talk too much!!!!! This is my personal answer from experience as I have zero affiliation with any product.
