How can I clean old porcelain laundry tubs

They are just really dirty with some stains too. Double tubs that look really bad. I would like to clean them up so I don't have to replace them.

If you just want to clean them, the best thing I have used is a magic eraser. They also make refinishing kits. Here is a link to one at the home depot- http://www.homedepot.com/p/Rust-Oleum-Specialty-1-qt-White-Tub-and-Tile-Refinishing-Kit-7860519/202246270. It is around $35.Helpful Reply -

Avoid heavily acidic cleansers like vinegar. Try liquid dishwashing soap, ammonia, baking soda, lemon oil, table salt, lemon in that order. If it is still not up to snuff, you can use an epoxy paint made for porcelain tubs to refinish them.Helpful Reply -

Try Easy Off No Fume Oven Cleaner in the BLUE can. Spray it on, let it foam, and sit until it liquefies. Rinse.Helpful Reply -
