Out the glass containers in the freezer for a few hours and then carefully break up the wax with a butter knife or a screwdriver. It should come out in nice chunks.
Submerge the glass container in some boiling water and it should melt the outer wax on the container so the candle can be removed
Set the containers in hot water that comes only near the top and check every so often until wax softens, then dig out. You may have to change the water during the process to keep it hot.
put the glass container in the freezer to harden the wax then pop out the wax using a butter knife or a sharp paring knife ....
the freezer method is so much easier then the hot water method
