How do I clean paint brushes?
I started chalk painting furniture and it seems my brushes always get hard and stiff after i wash them in water. Any suggestions to clean brushes and keep them soft?

Dish soap
give a real good rinse then fabric softener - soak the and put them in a plastic bag. Rinse the softener out before use.
Or put the brushes wrapped in foil and baggies into the freezer.
If your useing the brush for the same thing over & over. Clean the best you can, wrap in a plastic bag or plastic wrap and keep in the fridge between uses.
I always use a soap when cleaning brushes and if need be, a wire brush (gently) to clean off any dried paint. You can also spray a little Murphy's Oil Soap on your brushes when you're done. Be sure to rinse before use.
