How do I get my stainless racks that fit my kitchen sink shiny again?

    Hi! I'm not quite sure what racks you're talking about that fit your kitchen sink but I'd probably use a Brillo pad. I know it's not suggested to use one though on your stainless steel kitchen sink (though I did for years and years with no problem), but if it is a rack, that's what I would do. If you could send a picture, that would be great.

    I too, have a large enough sink to acommodate my OVEN RACK SHELVES. I found to immerse the racks in hot wter and add a couple of glugs of ammonia (approx. i cup) to the hot water. Let sit over night. Then, it becomes fairly easy to use a steel wool pad (Brillo, SOS, plain steel wool) and give them a a force-free once over with the s/w. griffin one

    I gess the best to do is to immerse them fully in water (with salt, lemon and vinger) overnight. Then you can wash them easily.
