How do you remove adhesive from bricks?

If the glue is really old 40s 50s 60s, you can try super hot water and just keep washing the brick. I removed black glue from the floor when I pulled up old linoleum with hot water. May I suggest an old vinyl table cloth covered by an old towel to absorb water from the floor. Goo Gone may help too.Helpful Reply -

If none of that works, muriatic acid could do the trick. It is powerful concrete type cleaner. Be sure to protect your eyes and skin if you decide to use it. Be sure to protect the floor in that area.Helpful Reply -
