How to remove animal smell from a wood building.
A muskrat got into our storage building last winter and now it reeks. The odor seems to have permeated everything including the power washer. The burrow may be under the shed but there is evidence of habitation inside the building. How do we get rid of the smell?

I once bought a house where the owners had bred cats on the back porch. I thought I would have to tear it off and build a new one. I went to the industrial cleaning supply store. They recommended a live enzyme bacteria cleaning solution (used in restaurants). I applied it liberally to the floor and covered the floor with plastic sheeting. When I removed it 3 days later the smell was gone.
Product out there called Odo Ban you can find in Walmart. Have used it outside to kill the smell of dog urine. Odo Ban should "kill" the smell . Very strong scent.
Original Eucalyptus Scent
Another product out there that has a very pleasant smell. It's called OUT & you can find it in the Pet Dept in Walmart, KMart, etc. Have only used this product inside the home not outdoors.
