I also have buildup on my laminate floors- I need help- Does anyone have an answer?
First try white vinegar and water with a microfiber cloth, then try the Laminate floor care system by Bona
What sort of buildup? I have had laminate floors for ten years in kitchen, dining room and laundry room and have no build up. I .just clean with spray bottle...1/3 white vinegar and the rest filled up with water. spray and mop. When done I go over it with a dry towel mop and it shines and is clean.
alcohol will dull the finish. Try Rejuvenate. We had really bad buildup and they always streaked when we cleaned the floor. We use the Rejuvenate cleaner once a month and it gets it right off.
I use Murphy's oil soap. I have had laminate installed for 11 years now, and don't have any build up. Floor shines like new!
U use it and works great.Maybe try White vinegar and water to remove haze
I have laminate flooring and I’m curious about what the build up consist of. I just vacuum and then mop with just a well rung out mop with water only. Works great for me because the water gets up everything else. I try to use the least chemicals possible in my house cleaning.
I have always used 1/4 cup white vinegar to 1/2 bucket of very warm water wring Out your mop very well you should never have a build up doing this😎
Listen, do not use bona or any other chemicals on laminate floors that have haze or buildup. Boil plain water on stove and mop with hot water. My family owns a business that puts factory finish on the floors. Bona is an excellent product for semi gloss or satin finish floors. It’s NOT good for laminate. Bona mops (without the product) are best (they also have off brands that are cheaper). Use a several mop heads so you’re not spreading the chemical (the film) that’s on your floor.
I use vinegar and water, moisten the mop, be careful to not saturate it on the laminate.
