I spilled quite a bit of hot candle was on my wood laminate floor. There are a few large blotches, but mostly small scattered dots. I'm not sure where to begin on the cleanup.

Put a bag of ice on the wax. This will help to harden it . Then use a plastic scraper. Once complete clean as you normally would for your laminate flooring.

Another approach is just the opposite from the ice trick: gently warm it with your blow dryer just until it starts to soften and get flexible, then use your fingernail or a plastic scraper to loosen one edge -- take hold of that edge and just peel it up.

Without heat or ice, I first used a rubber spatula to scrape up most of the wax. Then a credit card for smaller areas. I warm cloth finished the job. Thanks!

I heated my iron to the lowest steam setting. I then layes paper towel on the wax on my laminate floor, the black front cabinet and granite counter top and ran the hot iron over them until the dried wax wiped right off. for the places that I could not run the iron, I heated the paper towel and then wiped them clean. No residue at all. Worked like a charm.
