Wash it with white vinegar and water 50/50

After the vinegar and water - rinse. As the wash water gets dirty you are spreading a film of dirty water which dries. I rinse at least twice. It's amazing how dirty the water after you've "cleaned".

Is the floor smudged or does it just look like it is? If you just need to clean it, avoid soap or detergent because they can actually attract dirt. If the floor only looks smudged try matching some area or throw rugs to the color of the "smudges" that will make it obvious that it is a feature and not dirt.
