Go over the appliancces with mineral or olive oil. Wipe against the grain with a microfiber cloth.

make sure not to use it with any heat.......mineral oil is deadly on a hot appliance.....easiest way to clean anything stainless steel is with 'stainless steel cleaning powder available anywhere.

I only used a microfiber cloth with a spray bottle of vinegar, and all of my appliances look great. Don't spray your appliances directly, spray on the cloth.

A bit of olive oil on a nice soft cloth on my fridge and stove fan hud and dishwasher kept me for selling them all i was so fed up with the finger prints on them i saw this on DR oz and have been using it ever since

I would use vinegar on stainless steel.  It is a mild acid even through it is food safe it isn't always cleaning safe.  Generic cleaning guidelines is clean with a bit of dish soap then rinse.  Buff in the direction of the grain.  Or use a stainless steel cleaner that your manufacture recommends.  I have a cleaning business and have see a lot of damage caused by using the wrong cleaners on stainless steel.
