I washed my windows with Windex and it left with a streaky film.

How do I remove this film and clean the cloudy glass windows?

Try using white vinegar mixed with a dab of dawn and jet dry. Spray the windows down with the solution and wipe with paper towel.

Or just vinegar sprayed on and rubbed off using a crumpled newspaper.

FOR THE OUTSIDE: Jet dry creates a sheeting action. No real need to wipe off. Spray the mixture on the widow, brush with a long handle brush, hose it down. The water will sheet away. FOR INSIDE: wipe down with crumpled newspaper. No comics or ads. Paper towels leave "fuzzies".

First make sure the sun is not shining through it. Use vinegar as suggested & use clean coffee filters to dry.

No matter how streaked or filthy windows may be use "ICE" premium car care It comes in a spray bottle. Found in auto department. It is an easy clean, no pre-wash, hard scrubbing, endless polishing. Window have great shine and NO residue. Will never use anything else. One wipe over and its clean.

Clean your windows with microfiber cloths found in the automotive department at the major discount store. :) You can get 6 blue and white cloths for $5 or so. Wipe your window or countertop or stainless steel with one of the wet cloths and dry with a dry one. No cleaner is even necessary and the windows are clean and streak-free. It is so much easier to clean windows this way. Just don't wash the microfiber cloths with towels or dryer sheets. You will love it!

never wash windows when it's sunny...newspaper is good...use a squeege (can not spell it) the rubber edge on a stick with a handle..that's my best version to explain ..let it be know that I never won a spelling bee...

I keep a spray bottle of vinegar and water to clean windows, counters, floors, stainless steel, almost everything. It's also a great disinfectant and kills germs. The smell is gone very quickly.
