Laminate floors should never be cleaned with anything but a little bit of mild soap and water. The cloudiness is likely residue left from the cleaning products. You should look at the manufacturers website for instructions for your floor as different brands have different instructions. Tip: Laminate floors do not stay shiny and you should not use any floor ways on them. It is just their nature.

Have you tried using ammonia and water. Make sure that if you do so, that you make sure you have good ventilation as the ammonia smell can be very over-powering. I used this on my inlaid vinyl floors to strip of wax buildup. It worked good.
It's from the vinegar.
