We have double pane aluminium windows that develop black mold during the winter from condensation. I have used a bleach/water solution which cleans, but would like some advice about any other solutions.

You can try 1/2cup borax 1/2 cup white vinegar to two cups of warm water into a spray bottle. wet the area with the solution and leave on long enough to kill the mold. scrub off and rinse with plain water. Dry the area as well. You may have to repeat this depending on how bad the mold is.

you didn't state whether or not these were painted. If not, Bleach should do the job.

I would contact this lady here named Trudy. Ask her what she thinks would work and last the longest. She and her dad have been in the hardware business for 30+ years here in Texas. And girlfriend we know about mildew .http://www.happyhandyman.com/
