My 70 year old porcelain bathtub has light gray stains in the bottom.

They look like the tub is dirty, but no matter what I scrub with, ajax, tcp, bleach,etc, they don't come off. Is the porcelain damaged, any hope?

Try using Barkeepers Friend. It does a great job. -

Try Clorox toilet bowl cleaner. It worked well for me. -

Hi. Ooooohhhh my sister did the toilet cleaner on her tub and it sadly ended up scrap. I think it would depend on the what the tub is made of. But, Irene might have the answer for you. Good Luck ......Gigi -

The porcelain has been scratched and probably gone down to the metal. There is no cleaning that will solve this. The tub needs to be refinished.
