Oh poor thing !!! That's a tough one..it was probably being absorbed right into the plant itself. I'm clueless...waiting to hear others ideas !Helpful Reply -

Wait until it's done blooming; re-pot in some fresh soil in a new, clean container. Give it a shower (either in your bathroom or outside with the mist setting on the hose). it is most like the soil that is holding the smoke smell, try repotting in new soil and see if that helps. You can mist the leaves to help wash any residue from smoke as well.Helpful Reply -
