My hardwood floors have a streaky haze I can't remove...help!

    Use Bona hardwood floor cleaner.

    you may have used a product that either damaged the wax that was on the floor - in that case you will need to strip that wax off and start over; OR you may have used something that actually damaged the 'finish' ( not 'wax) on the floors - in which case you may need professional help to refinish your floors... Hope it's not that serious!

    First, if you use Murphy's oil soap, don't. It leaves a buildup on the floors. This came from a floor expert.

    I used a product I got at Walmart called Pledge Floor Care with a Scotch Brite no scratch scrubbing sponge when I moved into my rented apt. A little goes a long way and it did an excellent job. Even took off long-standing dirt buildup

    Hi Linda, hope this helps you out, Mix a one-to-one ratio of water and vinegar, dampen a cloth, and rub off the hazy buildups. Rinse with another cloth dampened with clear water and dry the floor immediately with a third rag. Washing coupled with wear and tear can eventually make the hardwood floor look old and cloudy
