Ideas to clean Waterford crystal vases?

I neglected to discard flowers before they died and they clouded the water and I assume the water etched the crystaL. I have used rice, vinegar and alcohol to clean but to no avail.

Try using Lime Away toilet bowl cleaner. It is thicker than the regular, and sticks better to glass. It can be had at the dollar store for, yes, just a dollar!
If vinegar doesn't remove the cloudiness, then they are probably etched. Did you put them in the dishwasher? (you should not!) Sadly, there's no cure for etching
I have heard that some people place those fizzing denture cleaning tablets in vases and then use a tool to clean out small narrow spaces to remove any stuck on stuff...but after letting them set for a while.
