How to remove white spots off of sterling pots?

I have silver pots and pans. But there's a film and spots inside. They only show up when dry not wet.

Try making the following,baking soda mixed with water,barkeepers friend mixed with water or bon ami mixed with water.Make them into a paste and rub into the spots.Wash of with white vinegar and water and dry with a microfiber cloth.
