What is the BEST window cleaner you can recommend?

I have tried many, many products which say "the Best" but nothing so far has worked? Please help.

Try mixing 1/2 gallon of warm water mixed with a tablespoon of jet dry and 2 tablespoon of dawn detergent.

Jet Dry can (and should) be replaced by vinegar. Adding rubbing alcohol will help prevent streaks. I love "rags" available from flylady.net; they clean with a streak-free shine with water only!

I normally use "Perfect Glass" and purchase it at Bed, Bath & Beyond but it may be in other stores as well.

I like Perfect Glass, and get it at Lowes.Anyone remember the old "Glass Wax'. Went on wet, dryed to a film you wiped off? Loved that stuff 50 years ago!!
