Are you trying to clean tile with porcelain tub or fiberglass bottom?

Fiberglass needs special care considerations. Because fiberglass can be easily scratched, I stick with the commercial scrubbing bubble type commercial bathroom cleaners. Baking soda can be used as well other mild detergents.

Because fiberglass can be easily scratched, baking soda seems to be the less offensive of all the mild detergents listed in the resource below.

“For stubborn areas, such as bathtub rings, you can make a paste out of baking soda and a little water. Wet down the tub’s surface and gently rub the paste onto it with a sponge, soft nylon brush, or cloth.”

Scrubbing bubbles is a great commercial product, but is not suitable for all surfaces.

I have been able to eliminate most cleaners by buying an inhome steam cleaner. It works wonders in a bathroom.

Dawn mixed with equal parts of white vinegar. The vinegar should be heated in your microwave first. Just pour the two in a spray bottle and spray on your shower. Let is sit for at least an hour and gently scrub and rinse. The mixture has to be thick so it adheres to the sides of the shower so don't add water.
