You can use cooking oil, apply some cooking oil on a piece of paper towel and gently dab it onto the stain to get a permanent marker off laminate wood.

Try toothpaste (not gel) and scrub gently - worked for me on wood and a bathroom counter
Rubbing alcohol, WD40, hand sanitizer. Put some on the marker, let it sit for a while, and wipe it off.
Try nail polish remover (but test in an inconspicuous area first).
I use hair spray, takes it right off.

Write over it with a dry erase marker. Wipe with a cloth and the permanent marker will come right off.
