How to stop unpleasant smells from neighbors seeping into my kitchen?

I live in a apartment.My neighbor and my kitchen are back to back.So what can I do to keep her cigarette smoke and other unpleasant smells from seeping into my kitchen?

    Seal any cracks/openigs in shared walls with caulk.

    You can try coffee grounds to absorb the unpleasant odors. Another idea is to try baking soda to absorb the odor. Cut lemons will give a fresh, pleasant scent.

    Have you spoke to the apartment manager. I am sure this problem has been addressed before. Sound him out, he may have the perfect solution. You may be able to put a vent in your window. Good luck!!

      Cor32419347 there is a window in my kitchen.I use my air cleaner while in the kitchen.The smell is seeping through the doors under the sink.And I keep my clean.But he and she smoke.They never let air in their place.We got new landlord but I will tell them and see . Thanks!

    I'd check into a clause providing peaceable enjoyment in your home. You may find something in your lease, addressing objectionable odors from neighbors.

      Thanks.I finally spoke to maintenance,and he came in checked things out and said he will seal things up for me.Yaay!
