There is a product called wet-and-forget which is a non chlorine based product safe for all surfaces available in Home Improvement stores.
Great, thanks! I have seen this and wasn't sure if it worked as well as they stated! Good to know it does! :)
Have you thought to ask the landord to have this taken care of? It is his investment.
My sister uses spray nine, she sprays it on here house then uses her husbands car washer with the higher power. she did her whole house two summers ago. worked well.
wet and forget! we used to painfully power wash our whole house once a year. found wet N forget at Lowe's and will never go back to power washing. put the concentrate into a pump sprayer according to directions and a rain shower will take care of the rest for you.
JoMaxx or bleach is the only thing that has ever worked for me... Just remember, if you use anything else you are going to have to scrub. The ones recommended in previous comments are a total waste of money unless you scrub. Plus, all the others do not kill the mildew so you will be cleaning again very shortly even if you succeed in scrubbing it off because it will grow right back.
My problem is that my gutters are about 40' high in the rear of my house. That is where it needs it the most. So, how do i apply anything from the ground up that high?
