I laid a bed of sand then outdoor carpet before I place a childrens outdoor play area complete with a play house, swings and a rock wall. It was good for about 5 years. Now over the fall and winter, I now see a lot of moss over the carpet. I want to get rid of it without ruining the carpet.

    Hi Renesan1

A lot of people use a product called Wet & Forget. There is one specifically for moss. We use an outdoor carpet as well, on our outdoor patio and I am impressed that your carpet lasted 5 years when it's out through the seasons. We take ours in every fall and still have to replace every 3-4 years. Wishing you the best.

Try scrubbing the carpet with a long handled flat brush dipped in baking soda, Dawn and water. Rinse well to remove any dirt and soap. There is moisture wicking up into the carpet from the ground.
