How to remove tar from brick?

Is there any chemical or any easy way to remove black tar fro brick?
All three of the videos I watched suggested power washing them. I hope this solves the problem.

Yes, but unfortunately, not in this case. As The best way is fire by a blowtorch to melt the tar, so it drips off onto an aluminum with adhesive [usually used for roofing], this cannot do with the bricks too close to wood, so...
A.1 you end up with a need for a flame retardant coat on the wood before you do that, and the price on that costs more than A.2 or B
A.2 chisel out the mortar to free the bricks to torch those all individually away from the wood.
B chiselling the mortar out of the bricks, to either
1a. buy new bricks or
1b. flip the tar to the backside to hide it.
And
2. renew the mortar in that section.
So basically to do A.1 is a risk that is far too pricy to bother the ordeal
To do A.2 or B you yet need chisel out the mortar and yank the bricks.
When thats so, you just do B1b: flip the bricks around to hide the tar, rather than bother with the ordeal.
Try heating it up with a blow dryer the next scrap it with something metel
